6. To collaborate and cooperate with various breed and all-breed clubs in the area of pursuing these objectives
7. To initiate and support the enactment of legislation for protection of dogs, their breeders and owners
8. To engage in legislative public relations and educational programs necessary to the protection of the breeding and exhibiting of purebred dogs as non-commercial ventures. Minnesota Purebred Dog Breeders Association is a non-profit all-volunteer organization that was formed in 1970. Our main purposes are to educate the public about responsible dog ownership and dog breeding. We also are involved in monitoring and promoting dog friendly legislation. We provide education -- at no charge to the public -- as to where to find a purebred puppy from a reputable breeder

MPDBA Objectives
There are over 150 breeds registered with the American Kennel Club, (AKC), United Kennel Club (UKC) and other registries from other countries. Each breed is different. Deal direct, avoid going through any middle party. Before buying a puppy, talk with the person qualified to "show and tell" you about the breed you want--the Breeder!
